March to Salvation

There is a famous saying, "Confession is good for the soul." That is so true. We must ask God to forgive us of our sins and place our faith and trust in Him in order to be saved. Some people just pray a prayer or walk down an aisle of a church, but their heart is not in it. God wants every part of your life; He doesn’t just want one day a week on Sunday. What does it cost you? That is the good part. The gift of salvation is completely free!

In the New Testament of the Bible, you will find in the book of Ephesians chapter 2 and verses 8-9: "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith – and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God – not by works, so that no one can boast"

Nobody can earn their way into heaven. As described in step 1, none of us are that good. If we were that good, we wouldn't need God, and we would brag about how awesome we are all the time. If you are truly serious about accepting Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior, here is a simple prayer to recite.

Dear Lord Jesus,

I know I am a sinner, and I ask for your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior. In your name, Amen.

Just now, when you received Christ, the following took place:

  1. Your sins were forgiven (Colossians 1:14)
  2. You become a Child of God (John 1:12)
  3. You inherited all the many blessings God promises to His children (Romans 8:16-17)
  4. You now possess eternal life (John 3:16)

"March to Salvation" is the third step where you give your life to the Lord and repent of all your sins.
